**Please phone the office to book appointments:

I have two busy practices and cannot navigate emails and texts from both offices. I also do not get paid for my expertise when answering texts or emails. If you require a follow-up or have questions, please contact me in my office (250-468-1482), and I will get back to you with the next available appointment spot. Also, remember that no health care issue is usually treated in one appointment, and per the consent form for RMTs that you will sign in the office in your first session, there is no guarantee that you will be all better. The body is complex; massage treatment is conservative, and healing takes time. Please allow time for your body to recover. Many aspects of health can affect your current soft tissue health, including your past health history, stress, medications, inactivity, strained activity, yard work, sleep, and, yes, your food. Everything matters in our overall health.

*Please see the flu and cold cancellation policy information at the bottom of the page.

Rates (Includes Federal GST – 5%)

When choosing a session, keep in mind if it is an initial intake it may require more time, especially if multiple issues are being treated. Follow-ups can be shorter if desired.

Remember, when you see an RMT, you are paying for not just manual work, but the clinical assessment skills and remedial exercises to get you better. BC RMTs are some of the highest-trained manual therapists in the world. We are a regulated profession, which means we have extensive clinical science training in our field and do continuing education to maintain our licensure. We have written board and practical exams to be considered part of the College of Complementary Healthcare Professionals. In addition, when considering an RMT, a higher price may denote decades of clinical experience in treating different conditions.

  • 60 minutes – $147 – A standard amount of time for younger patients or those seeking treatment for a specific issue (one)
  • 75 minutes – $170 – Recommended for an initial session to give more time to cover one’s health history and extra time for assessment and treatment of multiple areas
  • 90 minutes –  $195 – Also recommended if assessing and treating multiple areas. A longer appointment gives the therapist additional time to focus on a more comprehensive assessment, multiple treatment areas, and/or time for completion of other functional assessment tools such as gait & posture

Other

  • DVA and RCMP direct billing offered

I accept e-transfer, cash, cheque, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Interac. If you have an extended health care plan, check the details of your individualized coverage as all plans vary.

Scent-Free Environment

  • One of the top students graduating from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy – a 3000-hour program in Vancouver (One of the top Colleges in Canada for Clinical Science excellence)
  • Long History of Teaching, Multi-World Fascial Congress Attendance
  • Strong Healthcare Partnerships help to Augment a Multi-Modal Approach to Care which allows for better outcomes
  • Active lifestyle and past athlete (dance and figure skating)
  • Continued Ongoing Education & in-depth study of human physiology
  • Provide a functional approach to manual therapy, i.e. The classic medical system often involves a present-as-you-are or a symptom-based approach. I approach soft tissue conditions with the patient’s whole health in mind, i.e. consideration of previous injuries or conditions that may affect the status of the current soft tissue health
  • Explain step-by-step treatment so the patient is aware of the “why” or the purpose of the techniques utilized and the potential outcome of treatment methods. This approach alleviates common stress often accompanying injuries or soft tissue health concerns. It also supports continued communication and consent between the therapist and the patient as treatment progresses

Flu or Colds

In courtesy of the practitioner and of other patients, no flu or colds are permitted in the clinic. Please wait to come for treatment until you are symptom-free from any virus, sniffles, cough, etc. You must cancel your appointment with as much notice as reasonably possible. If you have a fever, cough, or difficulty breathing, please do not enter the clinic. Thank you for your cooperation.

Cancellation Policy

Please allow 24 hours notice for the cancellation of your appointment.  If you are missing an appointment due to flu-like symptoms or you have a fever, sinus congestion, cough, or difficulty breathing or you think you may have been exposed to someone with any of the above symptoms, please cancel as soon as you can. There will be no penalty imposed if you are ill and can’t cancel within the 24-hour recommended time.

If you do not call to cancel and do not show up for your appointment, you will be billed for the appointment cost. Missing an appointment creates a spot someone else could have filled, and giving notice is a courtesy to the therapist and a potential patient needing care.
